Dog Policy

Where Paws Can Roam

There are more than 35 miles of backcountry multi-use trails for equestrian users, dog owners, mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. However, not all trails are created equal for our furry friends.

  • Dog-friendly: Upper North Falls Trail – takes you to a pet-friendly waterfall!
  • No dogs allowed: Canyon Trail or on the connecting trails: Winter, Maple Ridge, and Twin Falls Trail.

Please help us keep Silver Falls beautiful and safe for all by picking up after your pet, keeping dogs leashed at all times, and being respectful to wildlife and fellow visitors.

Got questions about pet-friendly stays or the best local walkies? Just give us a howl, we’re happy to help.
