Meet at the Royal Palm benches. Wheelchair accessible. 50 minutes. Offered on multiple dates throughout February. \n\n\nStarlight Stories (Flamingo): Explore the folklore\, science\, and beauty of the night sky through music with Ranger Kensie. Meet at the Flamingo amphitheater. Bring a flashlight. 1 hour. Family-oriented and accessible program. Offered on select dates in February. \n\n\nExploring Stars at the Nike Missile Site (Royal Palm): Learn about stars and the legends surrounding constellations with Ranger David. Meet at the Daniel Beard Center. 2 hours. Telescope provided. Family-oriented and accessible program. Offered on select dates in February. \n\n\nGlowing Wings and Chirping Things: Nocturnal Insects (Various Locations): Discover the nocturnal insects of Southern Florida with Entomologist Ranger David. After a short presentation\, join a walk to light traps to see and identify evening insects. 1 hour. Family-oriented program. Offered on select dates in February at various trailhead parking lots. \n\n\nCapturing Stars with Anthony Sleiman (Royal Palm): Join conservation photographer Anthony Sleiman for an evening presentation on night sky photography.
